About Me

My Background

I am a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, NY. Art has been part of my life for all of my life. I have been canvas-painting for more than thirty years. My media are varied: oils, gouache, pastels. Styles vary from representational to semi-impressionist. 

My Medium

I use many different mediums, such as oils, gouache, and pastels. It depends on what emotion I am trying to establish. and evoke. As an artist, I believe that each subject requires the medium best suited to convey a unique message. 

My Inspiration

As an artist, something must move me; a form, a dynamic, a color. That motivation drives me to see what will happen next. I find beauty wherever I look, even and especially where it's unexpected.
